They met at a party...
Fate brought Jason & Nicole together at a summer party. They left that party together at 10PM, then talked by moonlight on a DC curb until 2AM. Long talks, inside jokes and enjoying the nighttime breeze are joys they keep. Their first date kicked off a soul-connecting romance, deep friendship and a travel schedule taking them to Cancun, Culebra, Paris, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and many points between. Jason proposed to Nicole on that same DC curb on a surprise evening.
Jason and Nicole planned to marry at a destination wedding in Isabela, PR; however, coronavirus had other plans. One thing Jason and Nicole excel at is switching gears. So, they moved their date, location, and well, all their plans. They will now wed in a small backyard ceremony in their new home in Annandale, VA. They hope those of you who live in the DMV will join them for a drive-by reception on the same evening. They will cap the celebrations off with a virtual reception on August 9, 2020. They are truly looking forward to their next chapter as husband and wife.
Our Wedding Ceremony
On August 8, 2020, we will be married in a small ceremony in the backyard of our new home in Annandale, VA. We so wish we could have everyone there to celebrate with us. It has been a dream of ours to say our vows in front of all that we love. However, the safety and welfare of our family and friends must come first.
We cannot wait to share pictures and video of our wedding day with all of you. We are looking forward to the day we can all gather in person to celebrate!

A Note of Thanks
We want to personally thank each and every one of you for your love and support, particularly since we had to change plans in March. We are grateful for every phone call, every Zoom happy hour, every text message, each socially distanced visit, the cards, the flowers and the gifts. Though this has been a challenging time for all of us, we feel truly loved and for that, we say thank you.
The last couple of months have deepened our appreciation of each other, our deep commitment, and a friendship that allows us to move to a new home and happily quarantine and chill in a backyard bird sanctuary. Perhaps living through a global pandemic is a good test of our future marriage. We hope this means that we pass!
